Welcome Home

People everywhere succumb to it every day of their lives. Even though we have no ability to determine what is Real, we still manage to function as a society, as a family, even as an individual. When each of us has our own concept of what is True or Real, how in the heck do we manage? We do it by agreeing on what is Real. We create a consensual reality that gives us structure, purpose and often a schedule we need to keep.

But it’s not Real. None of it is True. It simply has that appearance. Whatever we are talking about in any context simply has verisimilitude, it’s similar,  and shadows the underlying basis of our existence. And this is something all of us deal with. It’s something that all of us do, whether we consciously make the decision to follow that path of understanding, or follow what we’ve been told.

We all have different viewpoints. We all see the same thing in a variety of ways. This is an important aspect of being human that  many of us have forgotten, or may have never realized Now, more than ever, we need to wake up and take notice. We’ve been asleep for far too long. It’s time we all came together and made a home we can live in, one that looks different for everyone but still keeps us out of the rain.

Falling

`Well!’ thought Alice to herself, `after such a fall as this, I shall think nothing of tumbling down stairs! How brave they’ll all think me at home! Why, I wouldn’t say anything about it, even if I fell off the top of the house!’ ― Lewis Carroll, Alice in Wonderland

About

A radical who believes in critical thinking and rational thought while still promoting the absurdities of trying to define the underlying structure of reality in absolutes, Dorland is now bringing his unique thoughts to the public forum.

With years of experience in music composition, graphic design, business management combined with an unrealistic knack in all things computer related and a burning desire to find the “truth” to everything, Dorland continues to perplex even those who kind of understand the things he says.

Combine all of this with years of turning disabilities into advantages and you get a veritable champion of radical fuzzy logic and existential consciousness change. An enemy to all who would seek to take advantage of those who just don’t pay attention.

Plus he likes pie. Lots of different types, but Strawberry-Rubarb is his favorite!

“Would you tell me, please, which way I ought to go from here?” “That depends a good deal on where you want to get to,” said the Cat. “I don’t much care where–” said Alice. “Then it doesn’t matter which way you go,” said the Cat. “–so long as I get SOMEWHERE,” Alice added as …
